Community Standards

FindIn is a dating app built on the belief that genuine connections start with honesty, respect, and safety. Our Community Standards are designed to maintain an environment where every user feels safe, seen, and valued.

These standards apply to all content and behavior on FindIn — including profiles, photos, messages, and interactions with other users.

2.1 Use Real, Recent Photos of Yourself

Your profile photos must be genuine photographs of you. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Using photos of another person (celebrity, stranger, or acquaintance)
• Using AI-generated, edited, or heavily filtered photos that misrepresent your appearance
• Using avatars, cartoons, illustrations, or stock photos as profile photos
• Using group photos as your primary profile photo in a way that obscures which person you are

2.2 No Catfishing

Catfishing — creating a false identity to deceive other users — is one of the most harmful behaviors on a dating platform. We have zero tolerance for it. This includes:

• Pretending to be a different person
• Misrepresenting your age, gender, occupation, or relationship status
• Using someone else's photos or identity to attract matches
• Creating fictional personas to deceive other users emotionally or financially

2.3 Accurate Profile Information

Your profile information — including your name, age, location, and bio — must be truthful and up to date. Providing materially false profile information is a violation of these standards.

3.1 No Harassment

Every user deserves to feel safe. We do not tolerate:

• Sending unsolicited explicit messages, photos, or videos
• Repeatedly contacting someone after they have made it clear they are not interested
• Threatening, intimidating, or coercing another user
• Stalking, following, or tracking another user on or off the platform
• Body shaming, degrading, or humiliating language toward any user

3.2 No Solicitation

FindIn is for making genuine romantic connections — not for commercial or financial transactions. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Requesting or soliciting money, gifts, gift cards, or financial assistance from matches
• Promoting or offering sexual services, escort services, or sex work of any kind
• Advertising products, services, websites, or third-party apps
• Promoting cryptocurrency investments, MLM schemes, or fraudulent financial opportunities

3.3 No Minors

FindIn is strictly for users aged 18 and above. We have zero tolerance for:

• Any content that involves, depicts, or sexualizes individuals under the age of 18
• Grooming or attempting to contact minors
• Attempting to register using a false age

Such content will be immediately removed and reported to appropriate authorities, including law enforcement and child protection agencies.

3.4 Violence and Threats

We do not allow content that:

• Threatens violence against another user or any individual
• Glorifies or incites real-world violence
• Promotes dangerous or criminal activity

3.5 Self-Harm

We care about user well-being. We do not allow content that encourages or provides instructions for suicide or self-harm. We do allow supportive, empathetic conversations about mental health.

3.6 Safety Tips for Meeting Offline

If you decide to meet someone from FindIn in person, please follow these safety guidelines:

• Meet in public: Choose a busy, well-lit public location for your first meeting
• Tell someone: Let a trusted friend or family member know where you are going and who you are meeting
• Arrange your own transport: Do not rely on your date for a ride to or from the meeting
• Stay sober: Keep your senses clear and watch your drinks
• Trust your instincts: If something feels wrong, leave immediately
• Video chat first: Use in-app video or another platform to verify you are speaking with the person in the photos
• Report concerns: If you feel unsafe or are harassed, report immediately via the app or email [email protected]

4.1 No Hate Speech

We do not allow content that dehumanizes or discriminates against people based on:

• Race, ethnicity, or national origin
• Religion or religious beliefs
• Gender or gender identity
• Sexual orientation
• Disability or medical condition
• Caste or socioeconomic status

4.2 Respect Rejection

Not every connection will be mutual, and that is perfectly normal. Users must respect when someone is not interested. Continuing to message someone who has unmatched you, blocked you, or expressed disinterest is a violation of these standards.

4.3 Privacy and Consent

Respect the privacy of the people you meet on FindIn. You may not:

• Share another user's personal information, photos, or messages outside the App without their explicit consent
• Post non-consensual intimate images (revenge porn) — this is illegal and will result in an immediate permanent ban and reporting to law enforcement
• Screenshot or record private conversations for the purpose of public shaming or harassment

5.1 No Explicit Content

FindIn is not an adult platform. The following are strictly prohibited in profiles, messages, and any other part of the App:

• Nudity or sexually explicit photos/videos
• Explicit or graphic sexual text content
• Solicitation for or offering of sexual services

5.2 No Scams or Fraud

We strictly prohibit:

• Romance scams — building false emotional connections to extract money
• Financial fraud or deceptive investment promotion
• Phishing or impersonation for financial gain
• Advertising or promoting cryptocurrency schemes

5.3 No Spam

We prohibit:

• Sending identical or near-identical messages to multiple users (mass messaging)
• Automated or bot-driven interactions
• Posting promotional content, referral links, or advertisements in bios or messages

5.4 Intellectual Property

Do not post content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

6.1 Actions We May Take

When content or behavior violates these standards, we may:

• Remove the violating content or profile photos
• Issue a warning to the user
• Temporarily restrict account features (messaging, matching)
• Temporarily suspend the account
• Permanently disable the account
• Block device-level access for repeated or severe violations
• Report to law enforcement when legally required

6.2 How We Enforce

Enforcement happens through:

• User Reports: Reports submitted via the in-app "Report" button on any profile or message
• Automated Detection: Technology that identifies potential policy violations
• Manual Review: Our team reviews reported profiles and messages

6.3 Appeals

If you believe action was taken against your account in error, you may appeal by contacting us at [email protected] with the subject line "Account Appeal". We will review your appeal and respond within 7 days.

Appeals are not available for accounts permanently banned for zero-tolerance violations (explicit content, catfishing with financial harm, CSAM, or sex work solicitation).

If you encounter a profile, photo, or message that violates these standards, please report it immediately:

• In-App Reporting: Tap the "Report" button on any profile or message

All reports are reviewed confidentially. We will not reveal your identity to the reported user.
